What Season are you?

I am a member of Yahoo list Crazy Quilting International (CQI). We have classes taught by list members. This class was for a pouch. This is the block I put together for the class. It is all in cottons in greens, pinks and purples.
My favorite color combo is green and pink. I also love green and purple together. The silkie is one I printed myself. A very lovely lady.
The time for hunting season has arrived, which is busy time here in our little town, I will try to keep up.

Lets see if I can post about the picture I posted earlier, blogger just doesn't like me today, my other blog is working fine..........hummmmm.
What I have shared below is a RR for my online list CQI, called Flight of Fancy a butterfly RR. My additions to the block are the silver ribbon, that I twisted and stitched a SR french knot on the twist.
The pink butterfly motif is hand dyed with kool-aid, should I add some beads?

Susan tagged me
Several days back Susan tagged me. I see everyone being tagged and decided it would be fun to give my list. I don't know how weird these things are but here goes.
1. I live in a small 850 sq foot house built off the side off my DH shop. We do plan to build a larger home in the next few years....Lord willing and the money keep flowing.
2. DH, Kirk and I are homesteaders, well sort of....we still have all the modern day stuff, but we like to hunt (well he hunts) and grow our own food, I will be getting my chicken this next spring.
Want to see pictures of that small house and our homesteading in Wy, check out my other blog and the webshot pictures (you'll find quilting and CQ stuff , too). The links are at the right.
3. I love art, just about anything art.........my main fetish is quilting and stitching and I need to have fabric and thread in my hands each day.............unless I get caught up in reading, I have to limit my reading time because it will take over all else.
4. I love rocks, our hill here in Wy is covered in cool rocks and I collect them, I have a garden that is full of pink and green rocks (my favorite colors).
5. I don't think I am very weird, rather boring.................hum what is weird about me? I like to save things and see how I can use them in a different way.
Happy Sunday everyone

Comments for today
It seems there is a problem with the picture function on my blogger.............so I am sorry to say I can not post the picture I wanted to share. I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday and that blogger can get this fixed for me.
You will notice that I have joined a web ring, I hope you all will find the button to the right and go and check out the sites there. If you think you would like to join the ring click on the join button and see what it is all about.
Happy stitching and enjoy the wonderful, colorful fall days.

Back to some CQ entries.
First we have a row of rose bouquets, at least that is what they look like to me. Made of straight stitches, lazy daisy, and french knots.
Next, oh how do I describe the design. The first time I did this design it represented grape clusters, now they are like fuchsias. Outline stitch, lazy daisy, straight stitch and french knots.
I haven't done any stitching in about 2 weeks, I hope I get the bug back soon.
