Presenting Miss Rose Pincushion.
She came to me one night while I was asleep, well she woke me up. Her body is a pincushion and for those who could not bring themselves to stick her with a pin, I have included a beautiful hand beaded and stitched pincushion at her feet.
You will find her up for adoption on my Etsy shop. Stop on over and see some more pictures of her. If she finds a home I am thinking of creating one of her cousins.
Miss Rose Pincushion thanks you for stoppin by.

Pink and Cream RR- Debbies Block
Debbie's block is the second block in this RR that I have had the pleasure to work on.
My additions include the SR roses in 4mm hand dyed SR with DMC floss stems and leaves.
SR geranium of 2mm SR flower head with french knot centers and a pretty green butterfly motif looking for nectar. The seam treatment between the two is a hand dyed tread done in a buttonhole fan, to which I added the bugle beads and little pearls. The lace with pearls was already there.
The lower lace treatment was on the block, I added the red SR roses and rayon thread treatment with beads
The seam treatment to the left is done with lazy daisy leaves and a 3 sided bead.
This will be going in the mail shortly, I sure hope it gets to its destination ok, Cobi's block has not made it yet and it was only going to MO from WY and I mailed it on the 11th. I am really getting mail shy.

American Hero Quilts
Finally it is warm enough to quilt again. What am I talking about? The room my longarm is in is unheated, thus when it is cold outside it is cold inside. My poor machine does not want to work in the cold anymore then I do. Yes I can heat the room with portable heaters but it takes hours, so to protect my longarm I took the winter off.
First quilts on the machine are the American Hero quilts that have been waiting for warm weather since winter set in.
This first quilt is one that has been put together by the gals on my quilt list Trading Fabrics.
My contribution is the longarm work.
This is the other quilt, it is more of a girly quilt, my addition is a simple meander with circles.
A bit of detail.
One more quilt to go and I will be able to get these into the mail to Sue at American Hero Quilts
I will post a picture later this weekend.
Until later.

Appleblossom RR
On my online crazy quilting list CQI, 5 of us are doing a RR. Pink and Creme is the theme and the name of the RR is Apple Blossom. This is Cobi's block, which I have done some work on. This is not her orginial block, it is lost somewhere in the PO black hole. So this is the replacement block I did for her with what things I had. To it I have added a beautiful lace that I got from a lace buy with Susan. The french knots are done in Wildflower floss, with SR roses above it, I decided to do both open and bud stages of roses, the SR is a verigated hand dyed, I got sometime ago from a gal named Jane, but I don't have her website.
The choice of the blueish iris was to draw from the color in the center patch, also done in SR. The next seam treatment is all DMC floss.
A look at the whole block. I hope it will be to Cobi's liking.
