TAST - Take a Stitch Tuesday - week 4
This week we have the Cretan stitch. I am not sure what I think of the stitch, thought I know I will use it now that I have become acquainted with it. I tried different lengths, and different spacing. Then I decided to try the circle and then a wavy line. Instead of just stitching the stitch name or writing it with pen as I did on the other samplers, I choose a piece of cotton fabric, and used the Cretan stitch to attach the patch with the stitch name. I am not done yet with my work on this sampler page but I wanted to add something, as you can see I am working on the middle brown stitch, I will post it once done.
Thank you for looking.

Nice to find a stitch with lots of variety, and pretty, too!
You did a lot of work on this one. I like that curvy bit, and the circle looks very different with the lazy daisies on the tips. You got pretty creative here!
I love the circle and the wavy line!
