Today was a day of rest and before going off to bed I thought I'd share what I did today.
First off I watched the Rose Parade, I love to do this each year. I am always amazed at the creativity of the floats.
Second, I began my sampler for the "Take a Stitch Tuesday" challenge on Sharon b's blog. We are starting with the Herringbone stitch. I will post my works next week.
Third, I joined an online diet sight, thanks to Debbie R. for recommending SparkPeople.com

Pin your quilts to the wall and then take the photograph. You won't get that slanted look. Or, If you have to take them on the floor, get up on a ladder and try to focus the camera over the quilt.

I watched the parade, too. Wasn't that Oklahoma float something - where the Dick Tracey-style rocketeer came out and flew around?
I just love the way Pat's quilt turned out. It was funny when she offerred to put it together, not knowing it was for her! She's going to do the next one, though. Fran is mailing her a kit, I think. Or maybe I am. =)
