Here we have quilt show entry #4 "Mystery Rose" This quilt was a mystery quilt that I did with my quilt group in Ca. I am amazed at how it all came together.
After I got it all quilted I decided to embellish the center which is raw edge appliqued. I did not put this quilt on the longarm, instead I did stitch in the ditch.
I decided to do buttonhole stitch around the flowers and leaves, then of course it needed some beads. Remember to see a closer view, you can click on the picture.
This is the left hand side of the applique.
Today was the quilt show that I have entered the quilts in, what an array of beautiful quilts. I will share some of them in the next few days.
Until later.

Gail, this is beautiful. The embellishing is wonderful. Your buttonhole should be perfect by now! =)
I love this quilt! You do beautiful work, both quilting and CQing.

Gail, your mystery quilt is very nice and the applique in the center adds a nice touch to it.
This is an exquisite work of art. Your center is just so lovely.
