Done, done, done. I am happy with the finial product. The top cuff is Burgundy satin, with a beautiful lace trim and a few gold seed beads to bring the gold to the top. A Burgundy satin bow with green glass beads dress up the hanging loop.
Click picture for a closer look.
The heal has a hand painted motif that I did a few weeks back and pearls to add even more glitz.
Below is the back of the stocking which is a deep rich green velvet.
I have picked out the fabrics and trims for the next stocking, all in white, cream and golds. I will share those with you shortly.

Oh, How pretty Gail!!! Good for you getting a jump on Christmas!!!
Gail the stocking is absolutely gorgeous. Makes me want to do new ones for my two sons instead of the hand woven ones they have been using for over twenty years. :O) I am looking forward to seeing the next one for the colors sound very elegant.

WOW very pretty! Lots of work in that stocking. Who is lucky recipient intended?
Your stocking is very lovely!! I know it's not too early now to start preparation for Christmas.
It's gorgeous, of course, Gail! That lace at the top just puts a nice finish to it all, and the tie is just perfect with the little jingle bells!
This is a lovely stocking... I made one for my granddaughter and now have to make one for my grandson.
I am beginning to hate this google thing... I have tried and tried to leave you a commment on your beautiful stocking... I hope this gets thru... You should be proud. I love the colors and all the embellishments..
